Pursuant to Part 2, Section 11 of the Education Act 1989, Farm Cove Intermediate’s Board of Trustees has an enrolment scheme.

IN-ZONE ENROLMENT

Students who are residing full time in the Farm Cove Intermediate Zone are entitled to apply for a place at any time.

An enrolment form and prospectus can be obtained from the school office.

The school needs to be able to establish the student’s residence within its zone. Please ensure you provide the following along with the completed enrolment form:

1. Attach two of the following documents in the name of caregiver one
   Note:You may also be required to complete a Statutory Declaration to support this document:
   • Land rates account
   • Telephone Account
   • Electricity account
   • Tenancy Agreement
   • Sale and Purchase Agreement
2. Copy of the student’s birth certificate if born in New Zealand. 
3. If not born in New Zealand, passport MUST be sighted and copied by the school office.
   • Permanent Residency
   • Student/Work visa
   • Expiry Date
4. Immunisation Certificate

APPLICATIONS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED UNLESS ALL DOCUMENTATION HAS BEEN SUPPLIED

OUT OF ZONE ENROLMENT

Applications for Out of Zone Enrolment are accepted in Term 3 for places available the following year.

Should more applications than places available be received, selections will be made according to a ballot process determined by the Ministry of Education.

Priorities:

1. Will be given to students who have been accepted for enrolment in special programmes.* (Not applicable to Farm Cove Intermediate) 
2. Will be given to applicants who are siblings of current students. 
3. Will be given to applicants who are siblings of former students.
4. Will be given to any applicant who is a child of a former student of the school.
5. Will be given to applicants who are children of board employees.
6. Will be given to all other application.

 Requirements:

1. Completed out of zone enrolment form.
2. Copy of the student’s birth certificate if born in NZ.
3. If not born in New Zealand, passport MUST be sighted and copied by the school office.

4. Immunisation Certificate

2013 ENROLMENT DATES

Enrolment packs will be available from the school office from Wednesday, 15 August 2012.
